Located in Highlandtown, this 132,000 square foot state-of-the-art medical facility will provide medical serves to the city's low income residents. The new building consists of four levels - two parking levels and two medical office levels. BMSI will provide a pharmacy on the first level, medical offices and dedicated parking on the second level. The medical office space will consist of clinical space and support areas to provide pediatric, OB/GYN, wellness and psychiatric services. The center also has dedicated space for community education programs and a healing and rain garden. The remaining portion of the first level will be leased initially which will allow BMSI to expand in the future. The first level parking will be used by the city to serve the surrounding retail tenants. The shell building is on track to attain LEED Silver certification and the interior is on track to attain LEED Platinum certification.
